To be clear, I have not used Frog’s yet, but I am seriously considering hiring them for my pool renovation in New Jersey. If we move forward, I’ll update this review with a detailed synopsis and photos of the completed project, most likely next season.

The Good:

My initial phone conversation with Chuck Y. was informative, and it was immediately apparent that he knew his craft. He answered my questions thoroughly and gave me confidence that I was speaking with someone experienced. I’m the type of person who likes everything explained clearly and concisely, so I came into the process with a lot of questions and concerns.

Liz came to my home, evaluated the project in person, and took the time to address every concern I had. She explained the quality of the materials, the installation process, and what I could realistically expect from the finished product. My biggest concern was how the travertine coping and expansion joint would meet my existing travertine pool deck, ensuring it would be installed correctly to withstand the harsh Northeast climate while still looking clean and aesthetically pleasing.

At no point did I feel pressured or experience any high-pressure sales tactics. Liz was patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating, especially when it came to my many detailed questions about quality materials and long-term workmanship.

Pricing was competitive—not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive either. It seemed very fair, assuming the quality of workmanship matches what was presented during the consultation.

My renovation will likely take place in the spring or fall of 2027. If I choose Frog’s, I’ll return with a comprehensive review of the entire experience and the finished results.

Based on my interactions so far, I believe this company is absolutely worth contacting and should be at the top of your list when gathering estimates. Thank you, Chuck and Liz, for your professionalism, responsiveness, and patience in answering my many questions. For a project of this size and cost, quality workmanship is my highest priority, and you’ve given me confidence in your approach.

Frog did a fantastic job on our pool. From the moment they gave the quote. They didn’t try to upsell me and gave genuine opinions to help guide our decisions and put us at ease. I had to be in contact with them a lot with all the moving pieces and they were always kind and helpful. They started the job early and it took a while with the crazy weather but turned out soooo nice. The after care was not nearly as daunting as I thought it would be too. The water looks great and clear and no more crumbling walls and missing tile!! So happy with the results. Here are some pics from start to finish!

The staff is very responsive and professional to any questions that arose. The installation crew was professional and neat. Daily cleanup through the process. Overall, very happy with the finished product.

From the very first call to Frog Pool, the experience was top-notch. They came out the very next day to provide a quote, which immediately showed their level of professionalism and responsiveness.

Liz and Angel were excellent throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain every detail of the project, making sure my wife and I fully understood what to expect. Communication was quick, clear, and consistent—they answered every question we had without delay.

The crews also deserve a lot of credit—they worked long, hard hours and were extremely professional the entire time. It was clear they took pride in their work and respected our property throughout the project.

During the project, there was a small hiccup, but Liz went above and beyond—literally driving over an hour herself to pick up additional material to keep everything on schedule. That level of commitment really stood out.

This was a large pool project with a lot of moving parts, and while we saw it as completely flawless, it was clear they were working hard behind the scenes to make everything come together perfectly.

Angel also went the extra mile by coming out after hours to get the pump running. He identified a minor issue with our old skimmer hose—something that wasn’t even part of the original scope—and had someone there the very next day to fix it.

Liz and Angel truly went above and beyond at every step. Without a doubt, they are the best contractors we’ve ever hired. The craftsmanship and quality of the finished pool are absolutely amazing.

Did a great jog refinishing a 60 year old pool with lots of cracks. Finish is excellent and no more leaks. Quick turnaround time too.

We moved into a home with an old, non-functional pool and Frog’s came in and did a full renovation, including new equipment, plumbing, electrical, structural repair, tile/coping installation and plaster. The end result turned out beautifully (see pics) and I recommend Frog’s for any pool renovation/building needs. This was a large project and the Frog’s team was a pleasure to work with.

A few notable aspects about working with them:

• They were exceptionally responsive to our questions and concerns and kept the project moving on schedule.
• Very adaptable. As with any projects of this size, a couple of unknowns arose. Frog’s worked with us to adapt and adjust to the unforeseen circumstances.
• Well-organized and communicative about what to expect regarding project scope, payment structure and work schedule.
• Quality craftsmanship, they take pride in their work and care about customer satisfaction.
