Water Line Tile is the band which falls below the coping at the top of the pool wall which is normally always 6″ tall with rare exceptions. Options include 6”x6”, 3”x3” and 2”x2” tiles. The surface is prepped and a brown coat of cement is applied to the surface of the tile band. The standard grout color is white but many other color options are available. We can also install Accent Tile on top of all steps and benches as well as Face Tile on all steps and benches during the plaster installation.
Coping is placed on top of your pool beam between the water’s edge and the deck of your pool. Coping transitions nicely to the surrounding decking to form a seamless meeting of the two surfaces. Coping choices range from standard Brick, Tumbled Bluestone, Travertine and Bullnose Techo-Bloc pavers with many color options. Frog’s Pool Renovation also provides caulking between the new Coping and the Concrete or Paver Deck to prevent water penetration to ensure the longevity of your Tile and Coping.

Water Blasting Pool Paint Removal
If you’re looking to have your in-ground swimming pool’s surface re-plastered or re-finished, you may have to remove existing pool paint. Our water blasting process is quick, effective and much quieter and eco-friendly compared to sand blasting. We use a 40,000 PSI Water Blast machine to accomplish this process and it only uses 3 gallons of water a minute.
Acid Wash Stain Removal
Unsightly scale build-up or ugly staining can ruin an otherwise good-looking pool. Scaling occurs when calcium from the existing concrete pool shell through the plaster.
